“ This was our first time eating here. We chose Altruda's for Valentine's Day Dinner, and everything was absolutely delicious. The salad, the appetizers, the pasta. My wife got the eggplant, and I got the Ziti with Sausage. Everything we put in our mouths was impeccable. We will definitely eat here again and again in the future. ”
“ I was thrilled to find this restaurant before I even moved to Knoxville over 20 years ago. It has a great atmosphere that can be enjoyed with friends, family or for an intimate dinner. The food is wonderful, as is the waitstaff. I thoroughly enjoy the salad and garlic rolls that are served as your first course and have enjoyed many of the appetizers and main dishes throughout the years. They also have a full bar, wine list and serve traditional Italian desserts . I can't recommend this establishment enough! Everyone I have taken there has requested to go back. ”

After salad, you dinner selection is brought to the table, piping hot. The food is delicious and everyone in our party of six enjoyed. The atmosphere is quite and warmly lit. He checked on us just the right amount of times and made sure our beverages were never empty. The food was great, though the spaghetti sauce was oddly lacking flavor while the mariana with our starter was packed full of flavor. I'll agree with other reviewers who commented on the quarter piece of tomato in the shared salad a bit odd. The restaurant could use a good wiping down between the walls and the vent in the womens bathroom (which was quite nasty). Overall, it was great, and if we find ourselves back in the area, we would definitely visit again. ”
